“Kneel before this, bitch.”

We saw glimpses of Michael Shannon’s General Zod in the latest Man of Steel trailer, but we never got a real good look at his armor or helmet.  While this picture isn’t from a scene in the trailer, it is a new look at Zod with his flight helmet on.  This looks to be what he was wearing in the warning video that surfaced the other week.

It’s got a very Darth Vader look to it, which I guess is what you want to go for when creating a helmet from an alien civilization.  It definitely looks pretty intimidating.  I’m wondering, too, if it acts as a translator of sorts because if you ask me, having Kryptonians and humans speak the same language seems a bit farfetched.
