David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad” doesn’t open until August 2016, but filming is getting under way now, and with it comes the much anticipated debut of Jared Leto as the Joker.

We probably won’t see an official image of Leto as the Joker for a few months (likely not until the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” trailer hits on May 15 in front of “Mad Max: Fury Road), but that hasn’t stopped the Oscar-winner and rockstar from teasing his look to fans on his Instagram account.

Leto posted the below image to his Instagram today as he prepares for filming.

It’s safe to say Leto is talking about the Joker, and based on reports, we know this Joker is going to be based strongly on the one in “The Dark Knight Returns.” It’ll be interesting to see what Leto ends up looking like with the bleached skin and green hair, but hopefully this Joker embraces a rockstar-like mentality.
