I recently saw an image from the very underrated Michael Shannon film Take Shelter (2011) and quickly realized that I had seen this exact same scene in another Shannon film…Man of Steel.  However, instead of Shannon running from a storm rescuing a girl, it’s Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent/Superman.  Take a look at the two images below.  Pretty identical, right?  Maybe Zod isn’t such a bad guy after all…
