Early draft of ‘GREEN LANTERN’ script
It’s been almost a year since the release (and box office failure) of ‘GREEN LANTERN’. As disappointed as I was by the movie and the subsequent fallout, I still have hopes that one day soon, DC will reboot this film and give it the respect it deserves. Until then, all we have is the Ryan Reynolds disaster to hang our hats on.
As bad as the film was, here is a very early draft of the script that I read last year–a few months prior to the film’s release–that actually got me excited about the movie. Granted, the script has its flaws, but I definitely felt there was some good character depth and action and, at the very least, provided a good foundation for the writers to build on. While it never evolved into the script I wish it had, I definitely think it is worth a read. Click the link below to check it out.
