Kobe Bryant suffers ‘probable’ torn Achilles
It was a costly win for the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.
Despite beating the Golden State Warriors 118-116 at Staples Center, all talk was on star Kobe Bryant and his ‘probable’ Achilles tear. He will undergo an MRI on Saturday to confirm the injury. If the diagnosis is confirmed, Bryant would be out the rest of the season and likely all of next season. Bryant had 34 points before going down with the injury.
The Lakers currently hold a 1/2 game lead over the Utah Jazz for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference with just two games left to play. Regardless of what happens in the next two games, the concern of the Lakers franchise has to be on the health and future of No. 24.
