Most of us awoke to the tragic news this morning that a 24-year-old gunman, identified now as James Holmes, opened fire on a group of moviegoers in Aurora, CO who were attending the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises, killing 12 and injuring 59.

It is a senseless tragedy, and one that cannot be put into words. Everyone here at The Sports Hero sends their heartfelt condolences out to the families and friends affected by this heinous crime, and ask you all to keep them in your thoughts in prayers.
