Confirmation of the League of Shadows in ‘THE DARK KNIGHT RISES’?
A lot of people, myself included, have begun to wonder whether the League of Shadows is actually part of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. The last time we saw them they were trying to take down Gotham City in BATMAN BEGINS, and many of them were dressed in dark, ninja-like outfits. So then why are all of Bane’s thugs carrying guns and dressed in military fatigue in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES trailer if they’re supposedly part of the League? Maybe the League of Shadows really isn’t part of this movie after all.
Well, I think I’ve come across the most compelling evidence to support the claim that the League of Shadows is in fact a major part of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Below are two pictures from BATMAN BEGINS when Bruce Wayne first enters Ra’s al Ghul’s house atop the mountain. The men who come out from the shadows to greet him are dressed in almost the exact same military fatigue as Bane’s men (seen in the picture from TDKR trailer). How much more evidence can you ask for than that? I guess not everyone in the League of Shadows has to be a ninja.

January 10, 2012 at 9:53 pmI think it was confirmed a long time ago they're back. Besides, I think those guys are still ninjas, but are in disguise.

January 30, 2012 at 2:15 pmThose guys are inmates set free from arkham asylum... they're not league of shadow members.

January 31, 2012 at 8:50 pmOk, unless you need some glasses, it's very clear that the first four guys leading the pack out of Blackgate Prison aren't inmates. They look very much like members of The League of Shadows, or Bane's personal mercenaries. (Another rumor I've heard)

February 3, 2012 at 2:41 pmYou know Ra’s al Ghul is in The Dark Knight Rises right? Liam Neeson comfirmed that. Also he is listed as one of the characters on the list of actors in the movie. It would make tatal since if they were the League of Shadows.

July 15, 2012 at 12:24 pmIt's funny how many people will tell you that "nothing's known" about this movie. Everything's known. Bane is a rebellious quasi-Batman originally groomed by al-Ghul, al-Ghul is back, Wayne retires with Catwoman in the end, the Blake cop character takes over as the new Batman... almost everything's been leaked.
