So much for that IMAX trailer event on April 20.

After the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” trailer leaked online late Thursday, Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. did the smart thing and released the trailer online rather than hold out until Monday. (Remember when Marvel released the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer after it leaked early? Same deal.)

The “Batman v Superman” trailer looks epic to say the least. Reviews from fans have been mixed, but overall it is action-packed and gives us some great shots of Ben Affleck as Batman.

The story picks up shortly after “Man of Steel” and deals with the world still coming to terms with Superman’s presence. How Batman factors into the story still remains to be seen, but I have a few theories as to what direction the story is going to take. Check back early next week for my five observations from the “Batman v Superman” trailer.
