Josh Hamilton Blasts 4 Home Runs
Texas Rangers outfield Josh Hamilton continued his strong start to the 2012 season by blasting four two-run home runs in Tuesday night’s game against the Baltimore Orioles.
It marked the 16th four-home-run game in major league history. Hamilton is the first to accomplish the feat since Carlos Delgado did so on Sept. 25, 2003, for Toronto against Tampa Bay. On top of the four homers, Hamilton also added a double in the fifth inning.
The 2010 AL MVP is now batting .406 with an AL-leading 14 homers and 36 RBIs. If he keeps this up, he can expect to add another MVP trophy to his case.
